Community Development

At Bray & North Wicklow Area Partnership, we believe that strong, connected communities are key to tackling disadvantage and building a more inclusive society. Our Community Development work focuses on empowering local groups, supporting active citizenship, and fostering collaboration to address local needs.

We provide training and support to community groups and volunteers, help sustain vital local facilities, and work with a range of networks and partnerships to drive positive change. Our work also includes raising awareness of climate action and providing work placement opportunities through the Tús scheme—helping both individuals and community services to grow and thrive.

Through this collaborative, grassroots approach, we help communities gain the skills, confidence and resources they need to influence decision-making, deliver local solutions, and build a stronger, more resilient future.
