This programme is resourced through the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) which is co-funded by the Irish Government, through the Department of Rural and Community Development & the Gaeltacht, and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus under the Employment, Inclusion, Skills and Training (EIST) Programme 2021 -2027 www.eufunds.ie.

We offer free conversational English classes for people from new communities through our Fáilte Isteach project.

“Fáilte” means “welcome,” and that spirit shapes each session, which takes place in small, café-style groups where participants can chat and learn over a cuppa. The classes provide a supportive space to build confidence in spoken English and connect with others. They are open to all levels and available to adults aged 18 and over living in the Bray or Greystones Municipal District areas.

Classes are free but you must register in advance by contacting Lorna Lafferty on (01) 286 8266 or email lornalafferty@bnwap.ie

Fáilte Isteach is a national Third Age Ireland initiative where people from local communities volunteer their time to teach practical conversational English to people from other countries who live in their community. This work is resourced by our SICAP programme and the International Protection Integration Fund.
